The Blog:
I'm a 23-year-old journalist living and learning in Canada's far north. I moved up to Rankin Inlet (population: 2300, roads out: none) a year ago, and managed to survive these first 12 months. I'm here for at least another year, and then - who knows?
This blog is multi-purpose: it allows me to connect with friends and family who now live way too far away (or is it ME who lives too far haha), it gives me a chance to vent when life gets too complicated and it serves as a "dummy's guide to the north" because let's face it, living up here is unlike living anywhere else. And we need to get the facts straight.
