Correction!
Turns out my crazy cat/crows are actually ravens!
Fitting, for a Carleton grad.
Though they are depicted as a much more graceful, sleek animal on our paraphernalia....
Maybe the Ontario squirrels are actually muskrats then! (Or Muskoxen?)

Crows, ravens...big black blobs that scream like they are babies on crack...it's all the same. They are smart too, they wait long enough for my dog to get close enough and then fly away, move to another spot and continue the process. They sit just outside of reach of his chain and casually strut around. Watch out for your garbage!
And as far as I am concerned those squirrels are normal, everyone else is living in the land of munchkin squirrels! LOL
They're cunning bastards, no doubt about it. I've seen dogs on chains outside driven nearly mad by them. The cleverest bit was when about eight raven surrounded this one dog, which was trying to eat. One raven would go close and harass the dog. When the dog made a lunge, the raven would flap away and land just beyond the chain's maximum length. Then the other ravens would swoop in and start swiping the dog's food while it was distracted.
They're devious, that's for sure.
Oh the Ravens!
I was pregnant all last winter and would also throw up on my walk to and from work. So my husband and I joked that I was feeding the ravens. We seemed to have a couple that would follow us in the morning!
